Demographics

The minimum demographic requirements for 5 & Diner
site selection:

~ 6,000 day time population within a 2 mile radius of the site.

~ 100,000 night time and weekend population within a 3 mile radius of the site.

~ Household income should be $50,000 plus.

~ Great visibility on a busy road.

Requirements

The 5 & Diner of North America, LLC is looking for qualified individuals to develop 5 & Diner restaurants throughout the United States.

If you meet the following requirements, please complete our franchisee evaluation form on this website.
Minimum cash investment of $250,000 per Diner is required.

The total capital requirements for a freestanding 5 & Diner with equipment may exceed $900,000. The capital requirements for an
inline may exceed $500,000.

We are seeking serious operators who are ready to act and succeed!

We don’t sell franchises but grant them based on location, financial qualifications and the personality of the prospective owner.

Franchise Support

All 5 & Diner franchisees receive the support and training required to open their restaurants quickly and efficiently, including:

• Site selection assistance and guidance, including field visits
• Detailed restaurant designs and layoutsProfessional layout, blueprint, design and construction document review and analysis
• Complete equipment lists and specifications
  
• Pre-approved suppliers
• In depth training for you and your management staff at a designated 5 & Diner
• Grand opening promotions assistance and on-site opening assistance
  
• Confidential operations manual documenting the 5 & Diner operational procedures
• All recipes and plate presentation manuals
• Comprehensive pre-opening assistance and restaurant opening training package

Once your 5 & Diner restaurant is open, you’ll have the continuing guidance, consultation and support of our Franchise Regional Staff. Help or advice is only a phone call away.

Ongoing support services include:

• Ongoing marketing-manual guidance
• Ongoing operational, marketing and financial-control consultation as needed
• National purchasing programs
  
• Scheduled visits from your Regional Manager and monthly mystery shopper visits
• Available in-service training and/or retraining of your restaurant staff
• Our start-up and ongoing training programs will instruct you and your staff in many aspects of running a 5 & Diner franchise, including:
• Preparation of all 5 & Diner menu items
• Quality and food portion control
• Effective food service operations
• Food inventory management
• Hiring and personnel management
• Marketing, promotions and public relations
• Management tools, systems and routines
• Certified Trainer program
• Cleanliness, organization and sanitation standards
